Melissa is the Chief Financial Officer at Accrual Equity Partners, where she plays a critical role in building teams, designing internal controls, improving processes, and preparing organizations for growth, acquisitions, integrations, and successful exits.
At Accrual Equity Partners, Melissa works with the team to partner with companies in fragmented markets to break through growth barriers and realize their full potential. As a collaborative leader, she fosters strong partnerships across teams and with clients, ensuring financial strategies align with shared goals and are centered on a people-first mindset.
She brings more than a decade of experience working with private equity and venture capital-backed platform companies across the healthcare, print and publishing, and automotive sectors. With a strong foundation in finance, accounting, and human resources, coupled with hands-on experience leading acquisitions, integrations, and exits, Melissa brings deep operational and strategic expertise to her role.
Born and raised in the Boston area, Melissa moved to Arizona in 2003 to start a new chapter in her professional growth and development. Since then, she has held leadership roles that positioned her as a trusted executive capable of aligning operations with strategic objectives in dynamic, growth-focused environments.
Melissa holds a Bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University, a Master of Business Administration from Ottawa University, and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Arizona.
Outside of work, Melissa draws energy from time spent with her family and pets. She is an avid supporter of her family’s athletic pursuits, frequently found at the ice rink for hockey or cheering on her husband, a sports official. A voracious reader, she finds her happy place on a cozy couch with a warm blanket and a good book.
