Shad’s hands-on experience in managing complex service-oriented businesses makes him adept at guiding Accrual Equity Partners’ portfolio companies through growth, performance optimization, and scalability. He partners with leadership teams to assess existing operations, identify targeted improvements, and execute strategic initiatives that deliver measurable impact.
Before joining Accrual Equity Partners in January 2025, Shad’s expertise was built with more than three decades in the insurance and collision industry at companies such as State Farm, Auto Body World, Greulich’s, Service King, and Crash Champions. He developed deep knowledge of operational excellence, quality control, and customer service. This experience laid the foundation for his passion and skill in Lean methodologies.
Known for his collaborative, people-first mindset to deliver solutions, Shad thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution. He combines practical industry insight with thoughtful coaching, helping management teams understand not just “what” to do and how to do it, but “why” it matters. Applying a Lean lens that aligns with a company’s values and mission, Shad rebuilds the foundation with precision and purpose. His solutions and purpose orientation ensure every operation not only runs efficiently but fully lives the values that make the company stand out.
Outside of work, Shad is a true automotive enthusiast with a love for hot rods, car shows, and classic builds. He enjoys spending time outdoors -- boating, camping, and exploring new places -- but his favorite moments are those spent with his family and grandchildren, making memories and sharing his passion for hard work, integrity, and all things on wheels.
